The goal for all followers of Jesus is to find someone who can help them become more like Jesus and to become a shepherd to others. Your own walk with God helps you become more like Jesus. Matthew 28:19-20 tells us to do so is a command from Jesus, not a suggestion. Helping someone "to obey everything" is the hardest part.
What it means to be a good sheep (being vulnerable, humble, asking for help, being open about your struggles, and chasing after wisdom.)

Psalm 23 paints God as our shepherd—guiding, providing, and protecting. In Jesus, the Good Shepherd, we find the same care. Choose godly community over isolation, grow through mentorship, and live to reflect his love in a world that needs it daily, faithfully.
Jesus, the Bread of Life, meets our deepest needs. We chase power, comfort, and distractions, yet still feel empty. True satisfaction is found in him alone. Feed your soul daily with God’s Word before anything else, and let him be your centre.
