Imagine learning about Jesus for the first time. He is the sole mediator, the great high priest who surpasses Moses. He's the radiance of God's glory, greater than the angels, and he holds the universe together. He is the Lord of lords and the King of kings. He is the greatest. What happens when you lose that allegiance to Jesus? You cannot renegotiate the terms of peace to have a relationship with him. We need to reaffirm Jesus as Lord and King, build accountability and a community and walk in the power of the Spirit. Jesus is waiting for honest surrender. The perfect Father chooses mercy over judgment and connection over correction, and he celebrates repentance, calling us to reflect His love and grace.
Submission begins with surrender to God. Following Jesus' example, we lay down self-will, serve others in love, and trust his direction daily.
Jesus was full of grace and truth. Wisdom knows when to comfort, when to correct, and how to speak with love, discernment, and humility.
