Christ-like Character, Part 7 – by TJ and Sonia Masilamani

Evangelism is not about following a formula or being perfectly prepared, but naturally sharing what Jesus has done in your life. Jesus met people where they were, seeing beyond their identities, circumstances and questions to their deeper spiritual needs. Through Nicodemus and the Samaritan woman, we see that no one is too religious, educated or socially outcast for the life-changing power of the gospel. Jesus connected physical needs to spiritual truth, revealed truth without humiliation, and offered belonging, grace and real relationship. We are called to bring Jesus to people by being present, curious, honest and clear. Ask questions before giving answers, listen without assumptions, make faith visible and remain focused on people, not projects.
